It has taken me a long time to get to grips with internet dating - so much so that by the time I finally got to understand it properly, I ended up joining a 50 and over dating site! Still, I was more than happy with that because within only a few days I had met a lady who was exactly who I was looking for, and only a few weeks later we were already about to go on our first vacation together!
Things did indeed move very quickly indeed.
It was probably just as well that I took so long to get the hang of dating sites because my other half has ended up being someone who has shown me some spectacular sights around Europe. None more so than the Peklo Municipality in Czech Republic, which really does have to rank as one of the most spectacularly beautiful and interesting places that I could ever wish to visit. I guess some things do happen for a reason, although quite how much my workplace is going to appreciate me taking all this time off for travelling is a whole other matter!
